The invention discloses an anti-retreating system and method for milling and planing, and belongs to the technical field of engineering machinery. The system comprises a control mechanism, a supporting leg lifting mechanism, a milling and planing mechanism and a walking mechanism; the control mechanism comprises a controller and input equipment; the input equipment is connected with the controller and inputs a walking signal, a milling switch signal, a milling gear signal and a supporting leg lifting signal to the controller; the controller is also connected with the supporting leg lifting mechanism, the milling mechanism and the walking mechanism and is used for receiving a supporting leg oil cylinder position signal and a walking speed signal; the controller generates corresponding control instructions according to the walking signal, the milling switch signal, the milling gear signal, the supporting leg lifting signal, the supporting leg oil cylinder position signal and the walking speed signal; the descending speed of the supporting leg lifting mechanism is controlled to be matched with the downward milling speed of the milling mechanism; and when the walking mechanism retreats and is out of control, the milling mechanism is paused. The operation convenience and safety performance of the control system are improved, and the slipping phenomenon is prevented.
