According to the BIPV photovoltaic roof system, the transverse water guide grooves can be used for containing rainwater leaking between the longitudinally adjacent photovoltaic modules, and the longitudinal water guide grooves are used for containing rainwater leaking between the transversely adjacent photovoltaic modules and the transverse water guide grooves; therefore, the overall effective waterproof effect can be realized. The invention further discloses a transverse water guide groove and a longitudinal water guide groove of the BIPV photovoltaic roof system.
