A self-propelled working machine, such as an excavator or the like, comprises a bottom bracket (4) equipped with wheels (5) or track chains, and a top bracket (1) supported on said bottom bracket for 360 DEG rotation about a vertical axis. A first articulated boom (2) is pivotally attached to the top bracket (1) and a first implement (3) is attached to a free end of the first articulated boom. The bottom bracket (4) is equipped with a mounting and pivoting adapter (8) to which the second articulated boom (6) is attached. The adapter (8) comprises a mounting part (8a) attached to the bottom bracket and a pivoting part (8b) attached to the mounting part (8a) such that the pivoting part is pivotable by at least 120 degrees about a vertical axis (9) and such that the second articulated boom (6) is attached to the mounting part such that the second articulated boom is pivotable about a horizontal axis (11). A second implement (7) is attached to the free end of the second articulated boom (6).
