The invention discloses a two-section type ceramic kitchen fume purification material and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: sequentially weighing, burdening, ball-milling, sieving, filter-pressing, kneading, extruding and forming, adhering waveform pieces, drying and sintering to obtain a first-section ceramic material; sequentially weighing, proportioning, ball-milling, sieving, performing spray granulation, forming, drying, firing, dipping, drying and firing to obtain a second-section ceramic material; and sequentially arranging the first section of ceramic material and the second section of ceramic material according to the emission direction of the kitchen oil fume to obtain the two-section type ceramic kitchen oil fume purification material. According to the method disclosed by the invention, by preparing the first-section corrugated ceramic and the second-section spherical accumulation filtering catalytic ceramic, the preliminary filtering and adsorption functions of the first-section ceramic and the filtering and catalytic purification functions of the second-section ceramic are fully utilized, so that the oil fume is more sufficiently purified; an electric heating module can be additionally arranged on the first-section ceramic to electrically heat, clean and regenerate; the second-section ceramic adopts a modular mode, is convenient to replace, can be calcined and regenerated at high temperature, and does not cause secondary pollution.
