The invention discloses a method for solidifying silver iodide, a ceramic solidified body and application. According to the method for solidifying the silver iodide, the wide application of the silver iodide in radioactive iodine treatment is considered, the silver iodide is directly used as the raw material and is mixed with the barium source salt and the sodium iodine salt raw material, and the ceramic solidified body is prepared through the steps of dry pressing, reacting, sintering and the like, so that the radioactive iodine is solidified in the ceramic solidified body. The method is simple in process, low in cost and high in applicability, the content of curable silver iodide ranges from 4.44 wt% to 35.40 wt%, and compared with a traditional iodine curing method, the method is more practical and can be applied to disposal of radioactive iodine waste.
