The invention relates to a preparation method of a ceramic composite material 3D printing wire rod, which comprises the following preparation methods: (1) powder raw material preparation: ball-milling and mixing a sintering aid, a binder, a surfactant, a solvent and compound ceramic powder slurry to obtain mixed slurry, and drying or spray-granulating the obtained mixed slurry to obtain mixed ceramic powder; (2) powder mixing: adding a plastic forming agent into the mixed ceramic powder, and mixing to obtain pug; (3) wire drawing extrusion molding of the wire: selecting a heating temperature and an extrusion temperature according to the characteristics of a plastic molding agent, controlling equipment parameters, and extruding to obtain the ceramic wire for 3D printing; the compound ceramic powder slurry in the step (1) comprises modified silicon carbide powder, magnesium oxide powder and modified titanium dioxide powder, and the raw materials of the modified silicon carbide powder comprise octadecylamine polyoxyethylene ether, sodium polystyrenesulfonate and silicon carbide. The prepared wire rod is subjected to 3D printing through the FDM technology to obtain a ceramic product, and the product quality is improved.
