The invention provides a protection method for improving local scouring of a pier, which comprises the following steps: a protection device is arranged on a pier body of the pier, part of the protection device is positioned on the upstream face of the pier, and the rest of the protection device is positioned on the downstream face of the pier; a flow field in the incident flow direction of the pier scours the protection device on the upstream face, and the protection device on the upstream face changes the form of the upstream face of the pier so as to prevent scouring energy of downward jet flow to a pier foundation, inhibit generation of reverse pressure gradient, weaken energy of horseshoe vortexes and force water flow to be distributed to the two sides of the pier. The divided water flow flows to the downstream along the protection device located on the downstream face, and the protection device on the downstream face can restrain boundary layer separation, reduce the turbulent flow intensity of the tail of the bridge pier, weaken tail vortex erosion and achieve the protection effect.
本发明提供了改善桥墩局部冲刷的防护方法,包括在桥墩的墩身设置防护装置,其中,部分防护装置位于桥墩的迎水面,其余部分防护装置位于桥墩的背水面;桥墩迎流方向流场冲刷位于迎水面的防护装置,迎水面的防护装置改变桥墩迎水面形态从而阻止向下射流对桥墩基础的冲刷能量、抑制逆压梯度的产生,削弱马蹄涡的能量,迫使水流向桥墩两侧分流,分流后的水流沿位于背水面的防护装置流向下游,背水面的防护装置能够抑制边界层分离,降低桥墩尾部扰流强度,削弱尾部涡流淘蚀,起到防护的作用。
