The invention relates to the technical field of living space capsules, and discloses a space capsule and a manufacturing method thereof.A capsule base is light and floatable and can be prevented from being submerged by flood through floating of a capsule when suffering from flood disasters, and a traction pull rope is installed between the capsule base and a supporting bottom plate in a traction mode; during floating, the supporting bottom plate serves as a traction fixing anchor point of the cabin to provide floating anchoring for the cabin, a cleaning mechanism is arranged on the side of the viewing glass, and dirt on the outer side surface of the viewing glass can be automatically brushed and cleaned through sliding scrubbing of a glass cleaning roller; the driving pull belts on the two sides can be synchronously tightened and released through the synchronous belt wheels, the glass cleaning rollers can be prevented from shifting during sliding movement, the water guide edge grooves are formed in the edge sides of the upper portion of the cabin roof base, rainwater can be guided and drained through the water guide edge grooves, and rainwater can be guided and drained through the drainage funnel. Rainwater can be recycled conveniently, and rainwater can be prevented from flowing from the viewing glass and the cabin door body.
