The invention discloses textured piezoelectric ceramic and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of preparation and processing of piezoelectric materials. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing flaky BaTiO3 powder, piezoelectric ceramic powder, an adhesive and a sintering aid to obtain piezoelectric ceramic composite powder; the piezoelectric ceramic composite powder is subjected to 3D printing treatment, a magnetic field is arranged in the 3D printing treatment process, and a piezoelectric ceramic biscuit is obtained; and degreasing and sintering the piezoelectric ceramic biscuit to obtain the textured piezoelectric ceramic. According to the method, the magnetic field driving force is introduced in the 3D printing process, and the textured piezoelectric ceramic with high texture degree and relatively high piezoelectric property is obtained by utilizing the directional driving effect of the magnetic field driving force on the weakly magnetic flaky BaTiO3 powder and the ordered arrangement effect of the transverse shearing force of a powder spreading roller shaft on the surface flaky BaTiO3 powder in 3D printing.
