The invention provides a conductive castable and a method for connecting a metal ceramic anode and a metal guide rod. The conductive castable comprises 40-70% of metal powder and the balance of castable raw materials. Wherein the metal powder has electrical conductivity and is dispersed in the raw material of the castable, so that the metal powder can be in full contact with the metal ceramic anode, and meanwhile, the sufficient dosage can ensure that the electrical conductivity between the metal ceramic anode and the metal guide rod is good. According to the method, thermal expansion compensation of the metal guide rod is fully considered, and the connecting end of the metal guide rod is wrapped with foam metal, so that an extrudable buffer area is formed between the metal guide rod and a conductive castable. According to the method, stable electrical connection between the metal ceramic anode and the metal guide rod is achieved, the technical difficulty of connection is reduced, and the overall thermal shock resistance stability of the metal ceramic anode is further improved.
