The invention discloses an adjustable shallow groove supporting device which comprises soil retaining plates for supporting the side wall of a groove and a supporting assembly for supporting the soil retaining plates on the two opposite sides, the supporting assembly comprises two supporting rods, the middles of the two supporting rods are rotationally connected through a shaft hinge, vertical positioning grooves are formed in the soil retaining plates, and the supporting rods are arranged in the positioning grooves. The end of the supporting rod is provided with a positioning block supported on the positioning groove, a plurality of positioning holes are formed in the positioning groove in the vertical direction, and the positioning block is provided with positioning pins matched with the positioning holes. According to the supporting device, the supporting rods connected together through the hinge are used as supporting assemblies between the soil retaining plates, the supporting distance of the soil retaining plates can be conveniently adjusted by adjusting the included angle between the two supporting rods, and the supporting device can be conveniently moved through a lifting appliance by connecting the ends of the supporting rods with the soil retaining plates.
