The invention relates to a fitting (4), in particular a hinge (4a), for movably supporting a pivot element (3), in particular for movably supporting a furniture part (3a), a window or a door, relative to a stationary carrier (2), comprising: a first fitting part (5) for fastening to the stationary carrier (2); a second fitting part (6) for fastening to the pivoting element (3); at least one hinge rod (7a) which is mounted so as to be pivotable about at least one hinge axis (A) and which connects the first fitting part (5) and the second fitting part (6) in a hinged manner to each other; -at least one spring device (16) by means of which the two fitting parts (5, 6) can be moved relative to each other into a preferably fully closed position and/or a preferably fully open position; at least one support element (17) on which a section (16a), preferably an end section, of the spring device (16) is supported, the at least one support element (17) being rotatably mounted, preferably rotatably mounted, on the at least one hinge rod (7a) for supporting the spring device (16).
