The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing zirconium oxide powder, cerium oxide powder, a dispersing agent and water to obtain basic slurry, and sequentially carrying out ball milling and drying on the basic slurry to obtain basic powder; mixing nickel oxide powder, aluminum oxide powder, a dispersing agent and water to obtain pigment slurry, and sequentially performing ball milling and drying on the pigment slurry to obtain pigment powder; mixing the basic powder, the pigment powder, a dispersing agent and water to obtain ceramic slurry, and sequentially performing ball milling and drying on the ceramic slurry to obtain ceramic powder; and sequentially pressing and roasting the ceramic powder. The nickel oxide and the aluminum oxide are added to improve the strength and the hardness of the cerium oxide stabilized zirconia ceramic, and meanwhile, the cerium oxide stabilized zirconia ceramic can present blue; by adopting a solid-phase synthesis method, the method has the advantages of less pollution, easiness in operation, short production period, low cost and high conversion rate.
