The invention discloses an automatic lifting platform and a method thereof.The automatic lifting platform comprises a lower platform, the lower platform is integrally arranged on the outer side of a pier column in a surrounding mode, an adjustable support is arranged at the position, corresponding to a pier column body, of the lower platform, and the adjustable support can abut against the pier column body so that the lower platform can be fixed to the pier column; the upper platform is arranged on the outer side of the pier column in a surrounding mode and corresponds to the position over the lower platform, a holding assembly is arranged at the position, corresponding to the pier column body, of the upper platform, and the part, close to the pier column body, of the holding assembly can automatically and linearly move in the radial direction of the pier column so that the upper platform can hold or release the pier column body; the jacking device is arranged between the upper platform and the lower platform, and the jacking device can drive the upper platform to vertically move; and the tensioning device can drive the upper platform and the lower platform to stretch out and draw back, so that the upper platform and the lower platform loosen and tighten the pier stud body. Compared with an existing construction operation platform, the construction operation platform is safer, more convenient and more efficient, and the use flexibility is higher.
