The invention relates to a steel modular building structure which comprises a first shear wall body, a second shear wall body and a building body formed by stacking a plurality of steel structure modules. The first shear wall body and the second shear wall body are oppositely arranged on two opposite gable walls on the building main body; and the first shear wall body and the second shear wall body are embedded in the steel structure modules forming the corresponding gable walls. The steel modular building has the beneficial effects that the first shear wall body and the second shear wall body are both integral shear walls, the upper and lower stress is coherent, the load transmission path in the steel modular building structure is effectively increased, and the steel modular building has the advantages of simple and clear structural composition, high overall anti-seismic and wind-resistant performance, convenience in construction and the like.
