Touch closure on servo-assisted door
Aspects of the present disclosure include a door control system with a touch closing function for use in a door with a power assist function. An example door control system may include an actuator configured to open and close a booster door and a sensor configured to measure a speed of the booster door. The door control system may also include a servo assist module (SAM) communicatively coupled with the actuator and the sensor. The SAM may be configured to initiate a touch closing function of the booster door in response to a door speed measurement from the sensor and a natural deceleration rate of the booster door caused by actuator damping.
