The invention relates to a repairing work cabin and a repairing method for an underwater structure in a shallow water area, the repairing work cabin comprises an operation cabin, a material cabin, a lifting unit and an air pressure adjusting unit, the operation cabin is provided with a first cavity, one end of the operation cabin in the axial direction is provided with an opening, and the other end of the operation cabin is provided with an inlet hole; the material cabin is provided with a second cavity, the material cabin is fixedly connected with the operation cabin, the second cavity and the first cavity are communicated through the access hole, and the material cabin is movably provided with a sealing cabin door; the lifting unit is movably connected with the operation cabin, and the lifting unit can extend by the same/different lengths in the axial direction of the operation cabin so as to keep the operation cabin horizontal; the air pressure adjusting unit can supply air into the material cabin and the operation cabin and maintain the air pressure in the material cabin and the operation cabin within a preset range. The repairing work cabin can solve the problems of cofferdams and seepage prevention of underwater structure dry land repairing and newly-built construction to a certain extent.
