The invention relates to the technical field of electronic equipment, in particular to a plate, a preparation method thereof, a cover plate, a shell and application. The plate comprises a glass plate and a ceramic plate which is located on the periphery of the glass plate and connected with the glass plate through pouring and sintering of ceramic slurry. The glass plate is made of aluminosilicate glass or sapphire glass; the main component of the ceramic plate is zirconium oxide. The two hard materials of the glass plate and the ceramic plate are combined into a whole, the transparent texture of the glass plate can be used for achieving the light-transmitting display function, and the glass plate can be used for main screen display and can also be used for auxiliary screen display. Meanwhile, the whole plate is endowed with better mechanical strength by utilizing the ceramic plate.
