The invention provides a self-resetting swing pier which comprises a bearing platform, a pier column arranged on the bearing platform and a pier cap arranged on the top of the pier column, and unbonded prestressed tendons are arranged on the bearing platform, the pier column and the pier cap in a penetrating mode. The pier column is connected with the bearing platform through a rotating device, the rotating device comprises a spherical hinge structure for connecting the pier column with the bearing platform, and the spherical hinge structure can prevent a rotating interface of the swinging pier from being damaged; an energy consumption device and limiting devices for limiting displacement of the pier column are further arranged between the pier column and the bearing platform, and the limiting devices comprise the horizontal limiting device and the vertical limiting device. By arranging the unbonded prestressed tendons, the post-earthquake self-resetting capacity of the pier column is improved; through a spherical hinge structure of the rotating device, a rotating interface is prevented from being damaged when the swinging pier swings; the vertical displacement of the swinging pier during swinging is limited through the energy consumption device and the vertical limiting device, and the horizontal displacement of the swinging pier during swinging is limited through the horizontal limiting device.
