The invention discloses an incremental launching construction method for a side span steel truss girder. The incremental launching construction method comprises the following steps: arranging a pier-side bracket, a slideway beam, a sliding block and a walking top, and splicing a guide beam and a girder erection crane on a main pier. A steel truss girder and a guide girder are hoisted by a girder erecting crane to be assembled, and fiber grating strain sensors are arranged at the jacking positions of the guide girder and the steel truss girder. The walking top pushes the steel truss girder, the guide beam and the sliding block towards the side span along the slide way beam, the sliding block is moved back after the steel truss girder is jacked to be separated from the sliding block, and then the steel truss girder falls on the sliding block; and the guide beam is dismantled when moving the abutment pier until the steel truss beam moves to the abutment pier. Multi-point synchronization is achieved through the combination of the walking top and the sliding block, the sliding block bears the steel truss girder to slide with small force, synchronism is good, three-direction adjustment is achieved, and controllability is high; the walking top for transverse deviation correction and synchronous jacking is matched with the fiber grating strain sensor for real-time detection, the state of the steel truss girder is automatically judged, the deviation condition is judged, and deviation correction is conducted in time.
