The invention belongs to the technical field of water resource protection and water saving, and particularly relates to an evaporation preventing floater which is particularly suitable for being used for preventing water in a reservoir from being evaporated in an arid area. According to the main technical scheme, the device comprises a pituitary body mechanism and a floating ring mechanism which is arranged on the periphery of the pituitary body mechanism and integrated with the pituitary body mechanism; the radial outer side face of the floating ring mechanism is of a polygonal structure capable of achieving splicing.
