The invention discloses a diaphragm wall clamping type joint pipe pulling device and a construction method. The pipe pulling device comprises a hydraulic temporary shelving base, a jacking system and a wedge-shaped clamping system. During use, a hydraulic system of the wedge-shaped clamping system is used for tightly holding a joint pipe, a hydraulic jack of the jacking system is used for providing upward jacking force, a wedge-shaped block is used for converting the jacking force into clamping force to ensure that the joint pipe does not slip off in the jacking process, and after a single stroke is completed, a placing rod is inserted into a joint box by adopting a hydraulic temporary placing base; the four hydraulic jacks are put down to sequentially achieve full-automatic pulling of the joint pipe, and the device is driven by hydraulic pressure and does not need manual operation. The problems that in the prior art, during diaphragm wall construction, a tube drawing bench is tedious in operation, repeated manual operation is needed for accurately clamping the connector tube, time and labor are wasted, and efficiency is low are solved, and the full-automatic pulling device has the advantages that full-automatic pulling of the ultra-deep diaphragm wall connector tube can be achieved, and the efficiency of tube drawing operation is improved.
