In accordance with a first example of the present disclosure, a tile light fixture (120) adapted to be laid in a T-bar grid (11) of a suspended ceiling assembly (10) is presented, the tile light fixture (120) having a light fixture housing (220) having an outer housing periphery (120z) smaller than an inner periphery (10z) of a T-bar grid cell, and wherein a first peripheral section (120z1) of the housing periphery (120z) of the tile light fixture is configured for abutment with a section portion of the periphery of the T-bar grid unit, and a second peripheral section (120z2) of the housing periphery (120z) of the tile light fixture is configured for abutment with a section portion (130z2) of the periphery of the ceiling tile (130). Since the tile lamp fixture (120) has an outer peripheral dimension (120z) that is smaller than the inner peripheral dimension (10z) of the T-bar grid cells of the suspended ceiling assembly (10), such tile lamp fixture is adapted to interchange between square or rectangular T-bar grids having different dimensions.
