The gypsum drying and calcining equipment comprises a shell and a lifting mechanism installed in the shell, a feeding port and a discharging port are formed in the lower portion and the upper portion of the shell respectively, a microwave heating area is arranged between the feeding port and the discharging port, and a plurality of microwave energy feedback systems are installed on the shell of the microwave heating area. The microwave energy feedback system is connected with the microwave generator; the lifting mechanism comprises a driving wheel, at least one driven wheel, a conveying belt and a plurality of feeding hoppers. The driving wheel is externally connected with a motor and installed on the shell. The transmission belt is wound on the driving wheel and the driven wheel, and the plurality of feeding hoppers are fixed on the transmission belt. The device is simple in structure and low in cost, when the device is used, gypsum is dried or calcined while being lifted to the next storage tank or process unit, and the problems of long technological process, large equipment size, high investment, high energy consumption and high emission due to the fact that special equipment needs to be independently arranged in the mineral drying and calcining process in a conventional production method are solved.
