The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an original current signal of a vehicle window motor; performing signal filtering processing on the original current signal to obtain a ripple signal; performing current filtering processing on the original current signal to obtain a mean value current signal; performing rising and falling ripple counting processing according to the ripple signal and the mean value current signal to obtain a target ripple number; and according to the number of the target ripples, the actual position of the vehicle window is obtained. According to the embodiment of the invention, the accuracy of ripple signal acquisition can be improved, so that the position of the vehicle window can be accurately determined.
