本发明公开了一种高度透明的多晶BaAl4O7陶瓷光纤的制备方法,采用激光熔融‑气动悬浮方法制备不含玻璃网络形成体的Al2O3‑BaO前驱体玻璃,包括的原料及摩尔百分比为BaCO3:Al2O3=1:(1.5‑4)。本发明制备了不含玻璃网络形成体的Al2O3‑BaO前驱体玻璃,并通过玻璃光纤拉制技术制备纤芯玻璃,最后,通过一步热处理首次制备了单相、微米尺度的BaAl4O7非立方相透明多晶陶瓷光纤,打破了非立方相微米结构陶瓷光纤难以透明的传统观念;且本发明方法工艺简单,高效,且制备的透明陶瓷光纤具有结晶度高,发光效率高等优点。
