The invention provides a high-strength weather-resistant flame-retardant dividing strip which is prepared by mixing multiple raw materials and then performing extrusion molding. The raw materials comprise 100-120 parts by mass of polyvinyl chloride resin, 5-10 parts by mass of a plasticizer, 4-8 parts by mass of a stabilizer, 1-5 parts by mass of a lubricant, 1-6 parts by mass of light calcium carbonate powder, 2-4 parts by mass of a flame retardant, 0.5-2 parts by mass of an antioxidant, 5-10 parts by mass of talcum powder, 5-15 parts by mass of silicon dioxide powder and 2-4 parts by mass of titanium dioxide powder. The invention further provides a preparation method of the high-strength weather-resistant flame-retardant dividing strip. By optimizing the formula, the process steps and the process parameters, the dividing strip has higher tensile strength and weather resistance and does not change color after being used outdoors for a long time, the added flame retardant has higher flame-retardant activity and obvious smoke suppression effect, meanwhile, the interaction force between the flame retardant and a resin matrix is high, and the smoke suppression effect is good. The lasting stability of the flame-retardant effect is improved.
