The surveying instrument includes: a surveying device; the supporting seat is used for supporting surveying equipment; the multiple supporting structures are arranged around the bottom end of the supporting base by a circle; each supporting structure comprises a top supporting assembly and a bottom supporting assembly; the top end of the top supporting assembly is hinged to the supporting base, and the bottom end of the top supporting assembly is rotationally connected with the bottom supporting assembly. One end of the bottom supporting assembly is provided with a tip capable of being inserted into the ground, and the other end is provided with a rolling piece capable of rolling on the ground. The rolling pieces are universal wheels with brakes; the angle adjusting structure is arranged below the supporting base, hinged to each supporting structure and used for adjusting the inclination angle of each supporting structure. The invention is used for the surveying instrument.
