An article transport facility for transporting articles is provided with: a first elevating transport device (2) provided with a first transfer device (22); and a second lifting and conveying device (3) provided with a second transfer device (32). A first lifting track (4), which is a lifting track of the first transfer device, and a second lifting track (5), which is a lifting track of the second transfer device, are disposed so as not to overlap each other when viewed in the vertical direction. A first target region, which is a partial region including a lower end portion of the first lifting trajectory, and a second target region, which is a partial region including an upper end portion of the second lifting trajectory, are disposed in the same range in the vertical direction. A common storage unit (61) is provided in an overlapping region (6) disposed in the same range as the first target region and the second target region in the vertical direction, and the articles (W) can be transferred from the first transfer device and the second transfer device to the common storage unit and can be stored in the common storage unit.
