The invention relates to an annular beam hoisting technology, in particular to a guide assembly for hoisting a steel ring beam in place and a hoisting method for the steel ring beam in place. The guiding assembly comprises a guiding piece and an arc-shaped slope guiding piece. The guide piece is arranged on a web plate of the steel column bracket through a bolt and is used for increasing the contact area between the web plate of the steel column bracket and the steel ring beam; the arc-shaped slope guide piece is arranged on an upper flange plate of the steel ring beam, and the curved surface faces the steel column. Compared with an existing guide limiting device, the guide component and the arc-shaped guide slope component are adopted between the steel ring beam and the steel column, so that the effect of linearly adjusting the position relation between the steel ring beam and the steel column is achieved, and therefore, when the steel structure is integrated, the relative gap of the steel structure can be controlled, and the positioning accuracy of the steel structure is improved. And excessive stress and friction cannot be generated on the contact part between the steel structure and the steel column, so that the possibility of deformation and damage of the steel structure or the steel column is avoided.
