The invention discloses a steel beam support changing structure and a support changing construction method. The steel beam support changing structure comprises a bottom plate structure, a support changing assembly and a foundation pit bin dividing structure. During construction, the support changing assemblies are supported between the bottom plate structures and the foundation pit branch bin structures, the foundation pit branch bin structures are sequentially cut off at intervals, the bottom plate structures are poured above the first cross section and at the positions, above the first cross section and between the first cross section and the two bottom plate structures, of the support changing assemblies, and a new force transmission system is formed; and finally, the remaining foundation pit compartment structure is cut off, bottom plate structures are poured on the upper portion of the second cross section and at the position of the support changing assembly between the second cross section and the two bottom plate structures, and the bottom plate structures are of an integrated structure. The steel beam has good mechanical performance, after the foundation pit bin dividing structure is dismantled, the support changing assembly does not need to be dismantled and can be directly used as a part of the structure, and the advantages of being high in construction quality, energy-saving, environment-friendly and convenient to construct are achieved.
