The invention provides charging and discharging equipment which enables the charging and discharging equipment in a multi-layer parking lot to be more efficient. A charging/discharging device is provided with: a first floor section in which a first charging/discharging parking space is disposed; and a second floor section in which a second charging/discharging parking space is disposed directly above the first floor section. Furthermore, a power conversion device which is connected with the outside through a cable is arranged between the first floor part and the second floor part. A first charging/discharging connection member, which can be connected to a vehicle-side connection part for charging/discharging a battery, is attached to an end part of a first charging/discharging cable, which is connected to a power conversion device and extends from a top plate of a first floor part. A second charging/discharging connection member that can be connected to a vehicle-side connection section for charging/discharging a battery is attached to an end section of a second charging/discharging cable that is connected to the power conversion device and that extends out from the floor of the second floor section.
