The invention discloses a formwork erecting device for bridge construction, which comprises a main support hanging cable which is arranged on a crane cantilever and can be freely rolled, and a hanging plate which is used for hanging a bridge pier steel formwork arranged on the outer ring of a bridge pier reinforcement cage in a sleeving manner, and the top of the bridge pier reinforcement cage comprises a top reinforcement joint area without stirrups; the hoisting plate is provided with a closing-in structure for preventing the longitudinal stress main reinforcement at the top reinforcement joint area from hindering lowering of the bridge pier steel formwork, and the crane cantilever is provided with a circuit control assembly for adjusting the power-on state of the electromagnet according to the hanging length of the main supporting hanging cable. The diameter of the steel bar is adjusted to meet the requirement of the formwork, so that the formwork can be smoothly and accurately placed at a designated position, the construction risk caused by unmatched steel bars is reduced, the formwork erecting speed can be remarkably increased by automatically adjusting the closing-up process of the top steel bars, and then the construction efficiency is improved.
