The self-help rescue device comprises a containing part, a hook assembly, a telescopic rod and a rope ladder, the containing part is provided with a containing cavity and a taking and placing opening which communicate with each other, the hook assembly, the telescopic rod and the rope ladder can enter and exit from the containing cavity through the taking and placing opening, the telescopic rod is provided with a connecting end and a holding end which are oppositely arranged, and the connecting end is connected with the hook assembly; one end of the rope ladder is connected with the hook assembly. Compared with the prior art, after a worker turns on one side and is suspended in the air, self rescue can be conducted in time through the self-help rescue device, and dangerous situations are further prevented.
