A method for providing a moving seam in a concrete floor and a moving floor seaming apparatus for providing a moving seam in a concrete floor supported by a sub-base (27) are proposed. The mobile floor seaming apparatus comprises a mobile seam floor member (1) and a height adjustment leg (9) comprising a ground engaging foot (10) configured to be supported at a sub-base (27) and configured to adjustably suspend the mobile seam floor member (1) above the sub-base (27). An adjustable alignment member (14) is provided between the height adjustment leg (9) and the moving seam floor member (1).
