Mortises and tenons are arranged at the same end of a rail head, the mortises and the tenons are equally divided around the center line of the cross section of the rail head, the mortises are three-face rectangular grooves, the tenons extend out of a rail web, the mortises are flush with the end face of the rail web, the mortises and the tenons at the two ends of each section of steel rail are the same in structure, and the length of the mortises is equal to the extending length of the tenons. When two sections of tenon-and-mortise steel rails are connected, the expansion joint in the middle of the original steel rail joint is transferred to the expansion joint between the tenon and the mortise on the two sides of the steel rail, and when a wheel passes through the expansion joint, the other half of the surface of the wheel in contact with the rail is supported by the tenon; the vehicle body vibration and rhythmic noise caused by the fact that the wheels directly collide with the expansion joints at the connecting positions are avoided.
一种榫卯连接无缝钢轨,是将榫槽榫头设在轨头的同一端,榫槽和榫头以轨头横截面的中心线平分,榫槽为三面矩形槽,榫头伸出轨腰,榫槽与轨腰端面平齐,每一节钢轨两端的榫槽和榫头结构相同,且榫槽的长度和榫头伸出的长度相等,当两节榫卯钢轨连接后,将原有钢轨连接处中间的伸缩缝转移到钢轨两侧榫头与榫槽之间的伸缩缝处,车轮在通过其伸缩缝处时,因与轨道接触的车轮表面的另一半有榫头的支撑,使车轮不再直接撞击连接处的伸缩缝而产生车身的振动和有节奏的噪音。
