The invention belongs to the technical field of fabricated buildings, and particularly relates to a novel prefabricated cavity column system and a construction method.The system comprises a foundation, cavity columns, novel prefabricated brackets, inverted-T-shaped prefabricated superposed beams and T-shaped prefabricated superposed beams; the foundation comprises a foundation formwork, a foundation body and a foundation prefabricated reinforcement cage. The cavity column is prefabricated through a centrifugal method and comprises a column shell, a column cavity, a middle core column, column assembling longitudinal bars and column assembling stirrups. The novel assembly type corbel comprises a corbel formwork, a corbel body, a reverse gear preventing table, a corbel prefabricated reinforcement cage and a corbel gasket. The system comprises two kinds of prefabricated superposed beams, namely an inverted T-shaped prefabricated superposed beam and a T-shaped prefabricated superposed beam; during construction, the cavity column and the bracket formwork are connected through the auxiliary construction connecting device, and the novel assembly type bracket is further formed; foundation-column joints are in lap joint firstly and then are fixedly connected, and corbel-beam joints are hinged firstly and then are in rigid connection. The prefabricated cavity column system is high in site construction speed, high in installation efficiency and good in integrity, connection performance and stress performance.
