The invention relates to a steel pipe-steel plate-concrete prefabricated assembly structure cooling tower and a construction method thereof. The steel pipe-steel plate-concrete prefabricated assembly structure cooling tower comprises outer side steel plates, inner side steel plates, steel pipes, welding stud connecting pieces and filling concrete. The outer side steel plate and the inner side steel plate enclose circumferences with different radiuses to form the outer side and the inner side of the tower wall of the cooling tower, a plurality of welding stud connecting pieces are arranged in a gap between the outer side steel plate and the inner side steel plate, and the filling concrete fills the residual gap part.
