The invention discloses a method for preparing rock wool from blast furnace slag. The method comprises the following steps: S1, uniformly mixing blast furnace slag, silica sand, iron tailings, bauxite and serpentine to prepare a mixture; and S2, the mixture is put into an electric furnace, heating and melting are conducted in the electric furnace, and the rock wool is obtained. The invention further discloses rock wool and application of the rock wool. The proportion of the smelting solid waste blast furnace slag (dry slag) in the rock wool raw material can be increased, the blast furnace slag is used as the main raw material, the proportion is increased to 50% or above, the quality of the rock wool product is not affected, and GB/T25975-2018 national rock wool product standard requirements are met as well.
本发明公开了一种利用高炉渣制备岩棉的方法，包括以下步骤：S1，将高炉渣、硅砂、铁尾矿、铝矾土、蛇纹石混合均匀制备混合料；S2，将所述混合料投入至电炉中，在所述电炉内升温熔化，获得岩棉。本发明还公开了一种岩棉，以及该岩棉的应用。本发明能够提升冶炼固废高炉渣(干渣)在岩棉原料中的占比，做到以高炉渣为主原料，占比提升到50％以上，而且不影响到岩棉产品的质量，同样达到GB/T25975—2018国家岩棉产品标准要求。
