The invention discloses a pavement water permeable brick laying robot and a laying method thereof.The pavement water permeable brick laying robot comprises a robot chassis part used for driving the whole robot to advance; the brick taking-out part is installed at the front end of the robot chassis part and used for pushing the water permeable bricks out of the brick stack; the brick placing part is located behind the brick taking-out part and used for adjusting the positions and the angles of the bricks, carrying out necessary cutting operation and neatly arranging the bricks; the brick sliding part is positioned below the brick placing part and is used for sliding the placed water-permeable bricks onto a water-permeable concrete cushion layer; and the pervious concrete cushion laying part is installed at the rear end of the robot chassis part, located in front of the brick sliding part and used for tamping and flattening the pervious concrete cushion. By integrating multiple automation technologies, the problems of low efficiency, unstable quality, high labor intensity and the like in the traditional water permeable brick laying process are solved, and the construction process and effect are remarkably improved.
