The invention discloses a vertical connecting joint of a concrete-filled steel tube special-shaped column and a connecting method of the vertical connecting joint, and belongs to the technical field of concrete-filled steel tube columns. The device comprises a steel pipe, a space for concrete pouring is formed in an inner cavity of the steel pipe, annular ribs and connecting steel bars are arranged in the steel pipe, and the steel pipe is arranged on the inner wall of the steel pipe and is close to the end of the steel pipe; one end of each connecting steel bar is located in the steel pipe, and the other end of each connecting steel bar extends out of the steel pipe and is used for being connected with another steel pipe.
