The invention discloses a 5G communication base station installation method which comprises the steps that S1, a second section of tower rod is arranged in a first section of tower rod in a sleeved mode, a third section of tower rod is arranged in the second section of tower rod in a sleeved mode, bottom plates are arranged at the bottoms of the second section of tower rod and the third section of tower rod, and a first threaded hole and a second threaded hole are formed in the bottom plates of the second section of tower rod and the third section of tower rod correspondingly; s2, a second lead screw is installed in the second threaded hole, the interior of the second lead screw is hollow, an axial moving channel is formed, and a moving block is arranged in the moving channel in an axial sliding mode; s3, a first lead screw is installed in the first threaded hole, and the upper end of the first lead screw is connected with the moving block; and S4, the first section of tower rod is erected, the lower end of the first lead screw is connected with a power mechanism, and the power mechanism drives the first lead screw to rotate till the second section of tower rod and the third section of tower rod stretch out of the first section of tower rod and the second section of tower rod correspondingly. The installation period is shortened, and installation in a complex environment is facilitated.
