Ceiling mount adaptable to various ceiling rail widths
The present disclosure relates to a ceiling mount that can be adapted to various ceiling rail widths. The ceiling mount includes a mounting plate for coupling with an electronic device and two clips for mounting to a ceiling rail. The clip includes engagement members for engaging with opposite sides of the ceiling rail, respectively, and support arms movably coupling the engagement members to the mounting plate. One of the support arms of each gripper includes linear gear teeth. The ceiling mount further includes a circular gear coupled to the mounting plate and in tooth engagement with the corresponding linear gear of the clamp; and a pawl engaged with the circular gear and movable between a first state and a second state. In a first state of the pawl, the engagement members may move toward and prevent movement of the engagement members away from each other, and in a second state of the pawl, the engagement members may move away from each other.
