The invention relates to the technical field of structural energy dissipation and shock absorption, and discloses a shock absorption device for a high-rise structure, which comprises a structural body and a barrel wall of a barrel-shaped structure in the high-rise structure or a structural inner side wall, the mass tuning component is used for absorbing structural vibration energy by using mass; the component force assembly is used for carrying out component force on the longitudinal acting force borne by the mass tuning assembly and is matched with the mass tuning assembly to achieve multi-direction damping, and the component force assembly comprises a second stretching type damper used for being connected with the mass tuning assembly, a main pulling string connected to the end of the second stretching type damper and an installation base installed on the inner wall of the structure body. A main rotating wheel and an auxiliary rotating wheel are used for loosening a main string and tensioning an auxiliary string at the same time, so that a first stretching type damper can be acted, and therefore vertical acting force borne by a connecting rod and a mass tuning ball can be converted into component force in the transverse direction, the oblique direction and the like; the vertical acting force is reduced by sacrificing the movement stroke of the connecting rod.
