The invention discloses a treatment method of neutralized tailings of carbonate clay type lithium ores, which comprises the following steps: mixing the dried neutralized tailings with a strong acid solution to prepare mixed slurry; reacting the mixed slurry for a preset time, and sequentially carrying out solid-liquid separation and washing to obtain a first filtrate and a first filter cake; drying the first filter cake to prepare calcium sulfate; dropwise adding an alkaline solution into the first filtrate to remove impurities, and then carrying out solid-liquid separation to prepare a second filtrate and a second filter cake; roasting the second filter cake to prepare ferric oxide; dropwise adding a weakly alkaline solution into the second filtrate to remove impurities, and then carrying out solid-liquid separation to obtain a third filtrate and a third filter cake; and roasting the third filter cake to obtain aluminum oxide. According to the method, resource utilization of the neutralization tailings of the carbonate clay type lithium ore can be achieved, the neutralization tailings are efficiently and reasonably utilized, calcium sulfate, aluminum oxide and iron oxide are obtained, and remarkable economic benefits are achieved.
