The invention discloses a recyclable anti-collision surrounding type protection device and a mounting method thereof. The device comprises an upper inner horizontal steel framework, a lower inner horizontal steel framework, an inner inclined steel framework, a horizontal elastic buckling steel sheet, a vertical elastic buckling steel sheet, a friction energy dissipation vertical cylinder, a friction steel block, a first solid lubrication friction patch, a second solid lubrication friction patch, an inner connecting thin steel plate, an auxiliary connecting steel plate, a connecting rod, a top steel ring beam and a top balance weight. A bottom steel base beam; an anti-collision outer convex surface is formed through the horizontal elastic buckling steel sheets and the vertical elastic buckling steel sheets, and after an impact object impacts the anti-collision outer convex surface, the device is started. After the device is started, firstly, impact energy can be dissipated by increasing gravitational potential energy of the top steel ring beam, the top counterweight and the friction steel block; secondly, collision energy can be dissipated through mutual friction between the friction steel block and the solid lubrication friction patch; thirdly, impact energy can be consumed through plastic deformation of the horizontal elastic buckling steel sheets and the vertical elastic buckling steel sheets; and meanwhile, the recoverable characteristic is achieved.
