The invention discloses a lightweight heat-insulation diatomite heat-preservation board and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of heat-preservation boards, the preparation method comprises the following steps: dissolving cellulose gum in water to form a solution; mixing diatomite powder, silicon dioxide aerogel powder, metal oxide nanoparticles, aluminum hydroxide, tributyrin and calcium carbonate, gradually adding the microencapsulated phase change material, continuously stirring, then adding a cellulose gum solution, and uniformly stirring and mixing; putting the mixture into a mold, compacting and drying to obtain a plate; and the plate is coated with the silicon dioxide aerogel solution and cured. By using the microencapsulated phase change material and the silicon dioxide aerogel, the thermal regulation performance and the thermal insulation capacity of the thermal insulation board are remarkably enhanced, and low thermal conductivity and excellent thermal comfort are achieved. The light diatomite and the aerogel material are used, so that the weight of the product is reduced, and the heat insulation performance of the structure is improved.
