The invention relates to the field of concrete building materials, and particularly discloses high-strength counter weight concrete and a preparation method thereof, the high-strength counter weight concrete comprises the following raw materials: cement, fly ash, mineral powder, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, 5-10 parts of a water reducer, water, a tackifier, polyacrylonitrile fiber, and modified hollow glass bead-nano alumina; wherein iron sand is selected as the fine aggregate, barite is selected as the coarse aggregate, and the preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing the water reducing agent and 1/3 of water to prepare a liquid mixture; mixing the coarse aggregate and the fine aggregate, adding polyacrylonitrile fibers, and mixing to obtain a solid mixture; mixing cement, fly ash, mineral powder and modified hollow glass bead-nano aluminum oxide, mixing with the liquid mixture, adding the solid mixture, adding the rest of water, stirring, adding the tackifier, and stirring to obtain the high-strength counterweight concrete. The counterweight concrete has the characteristics that the strength reduction and cracking performance deterioration caused by aggregate sinking of the counterweight concrete are relieved, and the strength and the cracking resistance of the counterweight concrete are improved.
