An algae removal system comprises: a hull (100) comprising an anti-winding filter screen (101) and a ventage (102); the algae collecting device (200) comprises a flow guide opening (201), a flow guide pipe (202), a water distributor (203), an algae collecting bin (204) and an algae collecting basket (205), a larger opening of the flow guide opening (201) is matched with the leaking opening (102), and a smaller opening of the flow guide opening (201) is connected with one end of the flow guide pipe (202); the water distributor (203) is arranged at the other end of the flow guide pipe (202), and a plurality of holes (2031) are formed in the side surface of the water distributor (203); the algae collecting bin (204) comprises a cylindrical side surface (2042), and the inner surface of the cylindrical side surface (2042) is provided with a plurality of partition plates (20421), so that algae-water mixed liquid is ejected through holes (2031) and then collides with the partition plates (20421) to generate turbulent flow, and algae collide with one another to generate flocculation; and the trumpet-shaped top (2041) is provided with an ultraviolet lamp (20411) so as to irradiate the algae to inactivate the algae and precipitate the algae in the algae collecting basket. The algae on the surface of the water body are gathered and removed, no medicine needs to be put, and pollution to the water body is avoided.
