The invention discloses a temporary limiting device of a spherical support and a using method of the temporary limiting device. The temporary limiting device of the spherical support comprises a horizontal supporting square pipe, an inclined supporting square pipe and a vertical supporting screw. One end of the inclined strut square tube is connected with one end of the horizontal supporting square tube, the other end of the inclined strut square tube and the other end of the horizontal supporting square tube are provided with a vertical supporting screw rod, and the horizontal supporting square tube, the inclined strut square tube and the vertical supporting screw rod define a closed structure; the vertical supporting screw is in threaded connection with at least two limiting nuts, the horizontal supporting square pipe is sleeved with a horizontal adjusting square pipe, screw holes matched with each other are formed in the horizontal adjusting square pipe and the horizontal supporting square pipe, and horizontal adjusting bolts are in threaded connection with the screw holes. The device is simple in structure and reasonable in design, has two adjusting dimensions, can be adjusted in the axial direction and the radial direction to achieve temporary limiting of the spherical support, and is convenient to mount and dismount, capable of being used in a turnover mode, small in measure quantity, high in operation efficiency, low in cost and good in application prospect.
